"Asau has the potential to make an immediate impact on the mound at the varsity level. I really like his presence on the mound and he is very polished for a high school pitcher. I am anxious to get him to campus and start working with him. He is a top-notch pitcher and kid and I really feel he has the ability to be a leader in our program."

The son of Eddie and Tami Rodriquez, Asau will major in exercise wellness at Mount Marty. He is the recipient of an MMC Academic Achievement Scholarship in addition to his baseball award.
