Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of pitcher, Brody Ries, a Watertown High School student, to attend Mount Marty College this fall and participate in the baseball program.

Mount Marty College head baseball coach, Andy Bernatow, is happy to announce the commitment of Ries to the Lancer Baseball program. "I am excited to have Brody join the program. His commitment is a great way to start the recruiting class for the fall of 2013. He's a great fit for the program and is an excellent student and outstanding pitcher. We are graduating a majority of the pitching staff over the next two years so this signing really helps in an area of that will be needed. Brody has the ability to provide an immediate impact at our varsity level."

Ries has a distinguished high school academic career and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. The son of Dale and Jenny Ries, he will major in history and secondary education at Mount Marty. Ries is the recipient of an academic excellence scholarship in addition to his baseball award.
