Published Date3\8\2013
Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of Michael Sadler to attend Mount Marty College this fall and participate in the baseball program.

Sadler, who will graduate from Mitchell High School this spring, played catcher and pitcher for both the Mitchell High School Club Baseball Team and the Mitchell American Legion Baseball Team. He has had a distinguished high school career being named All-Region catcher both his sophomore and junior seasons for High School Club baseball.

Mount Marty College head baseball coach, Andy Bernatow, is excited to announce the commitment of Sadler to the Lancer Baseball program. "I feel really comfortable about the relationship that we have with Michael. He has been coming to our baseball camps since he was in the eighth grade. He's a tremendous young man that has been a joy to work with over the years and I'm excited to have him join our program."

Bernatow continues, "Michael has had a pretty successful baseball career at Mitchell High School and is an outstanding student making him a great fit for the program. His skill set is really going to help us out at the catcher position with his work ethic and that ability should translate into him being a great player at Mount Marty."

Michael, the son of Dean and Betty Sadler of Mitchell, SD, will major in exercise wellness and biology at Mount Marty. In addition to his baseball award he will also receive an academic merit scholarship and a catholic leadership scholarship.
