DuHamel Piano Recital at Mount Marty College

The music department at Mount Marty College is pleased to present Ann DuHamel in recital on Thursday, November 14th, at 7:30 pm in Marian Auditorium.

Ms. DuHamel is the Head of Keyboard Studies at the University of Minnesota, Morris and has completed coursework for the Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Iowa, where she works under the tutelage of Dr. Ksenia Nosikova. She is currently at work on her dissertation on the Nocturnes of American composer Lowell Liebermann, for which she received a Graduate Summer Dissertation Fellowship from the University of Iowa. DuHamel has also been awarded a University of Minnesota Imagine Fund grant to record these pieces in 2013-14. The Nocturnes are the featured pieces on this recital.
