Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of Tanner Termansen, a Yankton High School senior, to attend Mount Marty College this fall and participate in the baseball program. He will be listed on the roster as a pitcher.

Termansen carried a 4-0 record with 1 save as a pitcher with a 1.27 earned run average. He only allowed 13 hits in 22 innings of work and was also a member of the 2011 Yankton Post 12 American Legion Class A Runner-up team.

Mount Marty College head baseball coach, Andy Bernatow, is pleased to announce the commitment of Tanner to the Lancer Baseball program. "I am very excited about the commitment of Tanner. Tanner has been on our radar for a long time and it is a great feeling to be able to keep local talent in town. We look for him to develop into a quality college pitcher and the talent and ability he possesses will allow for him to do some great things on the mound for this program."

Termansen plans to double major in history and secondary education at MMC. He is the son of Kim and Teresa Termansen of Yankton, SD. He is the recipient of a MMC Honors Scholarship for his academic achievements in addition to his baseball scholarship.
