Mount Marty Volleyball Adds Middle Hitter to Roster

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the athletic signing of Rachel Reiff, a Chester High School student-athlete to play volleyball for the Lancers next year.

Reiff, a 5'11" middle hitter, was named All-Conference on three occasions and Academic All-State her senior year. She was on the Chester team that was Conference Champions, District 7B Champions, Region 4B Champions, Pentagon Champions, and was the State Runner-Up.

Her 2013 stats were: 265 kills, 2 assists, 46 blocks, 118 digs and had 96.7% serving with 32 service aces.

Lancers' head volleyball coach, Candice Climer, is excited about the signing of Reiff. "Rachel has had a successful high school volleyball career and her background and experience will continue to help our Lancer program improve and grow. Rachel's strong academic and athletic abilities will be a great fit to the Mount Marty Campus."

Reiff, daughter of Scott and Deanna Reiff of Chester, SD, plans to major in nursing and will be receiving Academic Excellence Scholarship and one of Mount Marty College's prestigious academic scholarships, the Scholastica Scholarship, in addition to her volleyball award.
