SWAT: Sophomores Working at Thriving

Purpose of Organization

This group consists of students who are sophomore level leaders at Mount Marty College that represent the sophomore class. The group hosts several campus wide activities and service projects through the year. They encourage other students to get involved on campus, especially sophomore students.

Membership Requirements

Students must have sophomore level status and are nominated by current members during the spring semester.

Annually sponsored events

Make a Difference Day, Open Mic Night, Halloween Penny-War Fundraise for Children's books, donated Thanksgiving Baskets to Yankton area families, donated Christmas Tree Project items, Hosted End of the Year Picnic, bake cookies for finals week

Meeting Information

SWAT meets monthly in Roncalli 106. The day and time of meetings are determined by the student's schedules. Keep a look out on the campus calendar for upcoming meeting times!
