Rodriguez, a standout player at Rapid City Central High School, was an integral player for the team. She was a member of the 2013 Greater Dakota Conference (GDC) 3rd place team. Individually, she finished 9th place at the 2013 Rapid Invite and finished 15th place at the GDC contest.

At Central High School, Rodriguez was named Most Dedicated, Most Improved, and received the Cobbler Spirit award in addition to lettering five years in the sport. Off the course, she was on the honor roll, was the National Honor Society treasurer and was an AYCE community board member.

Lancers head women's golf coach, Tom Schlimgen, sees a great addition with the signing of Rodriguez. "We are looking forward to having Azure join our golf program. She's seen great competition during her career so far and we are excited to put that experience to work for us. We know she's going to be a great addition to our program and the Mount Marty community as well."

In addition to her basketball award Rodriguez is also receiving an academic merit scholarship. The daughter of Eddie and Tami Rodriguez of Rapid City, SD she plans to major in human service at Mount Marty College.

Kuehler played soccer for Sturgis Brown High School as well as the Rushmore Soccer Club. She was named Second Team All-State in 2010 and First Team All-State in 2011 and 2012 and was the team captain for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. During Kuehler's time with the Rushmore Soccer Club those teams went on to win the Club State Championships for the 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons.

Nathan Epp, head MMC women's soccer coach is excited with the signing. "We are thrilled to have Breanne joining our program. She will bring a wealth of experience and understanding of the game. Her knowledge of the game and ability to distribute the ball will help her be able to contribute right away for us. She has the capability to play several different positions."

Epp continues, "The best thing about Breanne is that she is also a great individual. She will fit in very well with the rest of the tam and with the student body here at MMC."

Kuehler, the daughter Lynn Kuehler of Black Hawk, SD plans to major in nursing at Mount Marty College.

Wirth is a 5'5" infielder who has played both 2nd and 3rd base positions with Yankton High School and Yankton Spitfire Club programs. She was named All-State in 2010, 2011, and 2012, was named All-Tournament in 2011, and was team captain for both the 2010 and 2012 seasons. Wirth's 2012 hitting statistics for the Spitfire were: Avg .418, AB 141, R 49, H 59, 1B 44, 2B 6, 3B 5, HR 4, RBIs 28, BB 15, and SO 17. Her 2012 statistics for YHS were: Avg .454, AB 97, R 33, H 44, 1B 32, 2B 1, 3B 9, HR 2, RBIs 25, BB 12, and SO 9.

Head MMC softball coach, Albert Fernandez, is happy to sign Wirth to the roster, "I'm excited to have Jessica join our softball program next fall. For the past two years she has had great statistics for both Yankton High and Yankton Spitfire Club Team. Jessica has the ability to play many infield positions and will be a great asset to our team. In addition, she is a solid student that will be a good fit with the Mount Marty community."

Off the field, Wirth was a member of the National Honor Society and was on the Roll of Excellence all four years and received an academic letter for three of her four years at YHS. She is the daughter of Jerry and Robin Wirth of Yankton and is currently undecided in her major at MMC. In addition to her softball award, Wirth is receiving an academic merit scholarship.

In the Women's Division, Lori Ibarolle, Yvonne Slowey, Jenny Dietrich and Sandy Brandt won with a score of 68. Peggy Frank, Lynette Bruening, Penny Porter and Hannah Withrow were runners-up after winning a scorecard playoff with a score of 70.

A volunteer planning committee with community members Lynette Bruening, Peggy Frank, James Grotenhuis, Bruce Teachout and Adam Walsh was essential to this year's success.

MMC Golf Classic organizer and Director of Annual Giving, Shannon Viereck, is excited about the day's success. "Mount Marty College is so fortunate to have community members, alumni, and business partners that come out each year to support the College. This is a wonderful event, and we look forward to enhancing the classic each year going forward."

One major enhancement for the classic this year was the inclusion of four high-value raffle prizes. They included golf at The Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb., an iPad and iPod touch sponsored by CorTrust Bank, a top notch date night in Sioux Falls, and a recreation package including a kayak and mountain bike donated by John A. Conkling Distributing.

Proceeds from the annual event provide support for student scholarships, academic resources and campus improvements at Mount Marty College.
